Professional Background

Dr. Ledbetter is a licensed Clinical Psychologist in the state of Alabama. She earned her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Adler University in Chicago, IL, with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy. She completed her clinical internship and postdoctoral residency at Adler Community Health Services in Chicago, IL. She earned her M.A. in Counseling from Adler University, and graduated from the University of Alabama with a B.A. in Psychology.

Dr. Ledbetter has clinical experience working across multiple settings including community mental health, schools, private practice, forensic, and primary care facilities. Her research focused on adult attachment styles in romantic relationships as it relates to communication and conflict resolution. 

Dr. Ledbetter has been working in private practice since 2017 serving children, adolescents, and adults within the surrounding communities of Madison, Huntsville, and Decatur. As a firm believer in social justice, Dr. Ledbetter is passionate about working with all types of individuals in order to help people make significant changes towards improving their quality of life. As a wife and southern native, I am always on the lookout for new and interesting things to experience. I love trying new restaurants, creating new experiences, and taking weekend trips to places I have never been before. In my spare time, you can find me exploring new cultures and foods, listening to music, or dreaming about my next travel adventure.

Latasha is a Psychometric Technician at Ledbetter Psychological Services. She works alongside Dr. Ledbetter to administer psychological assessment measures. Together, they hope to support you along your journey towards clarity, self-awareness, and personal development. 

Latasha has clinical experience as a psychometric technician, as a behavioral therapist, and as a program coordinator. With over five years of experience working in psychology, she strives to provide energetic, engaging support to help clients achieve their goals.

Latasha earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Alabama A&M University. She completed her internship at North Alabama Regional Hospital. She also earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Alabama A&M University. She pursued clinical psychology with one goal in mind: to assist others in their own personal growth.
